Brand Sutra – AI Brand Governance Platform
An AI-powered brand governance platform that reviews marketing content for brand consistency, factual accuracy, tone of voice, and visual guidelines before publication.
The Problem
Growing organisations publish content through multiple employees, agencies, freelancers, and AI tools. This often leads to inconsistent brand messaging, incorrect claims, off-brand visuals, and communication that doesn't follow approved guidelines. Manually reviewing every piece of content is time-consuming and difficult to scale. Brand Sutra aims to solve this problem by providing an intelligent review system that checks content against a company's brand guidelines, approved messaging, terminology, and factual references before publication.
The Solution & Approach
- Establish Brand Guidelines: Create a centralised brand profile containing tone of voice, approved terminology, messaging rules, visual guidelines, and restricted claims.
- Submit Content for Review: Allow marketing teams to submit AI-generated or human-written content for automated brand compliance checks.
- Run AI-Powered Compliance Checks: Analyse tone, terminology, messaging consistency, factual claims, accessibility, and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Generate Findings and Recommendations: Highlight violations, explain why they matter, and suggest corrections that align with the approved brand identity.
- Enable Review and Approval: Provide a structured workflow for reviewing flagged content, applying corrections, and approving content before publication.

What I Learned
This project explores how AI can be used to solve a practical business problem beyond content generation. It highlights the importance of grounding LLM outputs in approved references, combining probabilistic AI analysis with deterministic rules, and keeping humans involved in high-impact approval decisions. It also provides an opportunity to apply product thinking through workflow design, defining compliance criteria, evaluating model outputs, and balancing automation with reliability and trust.
